i've been boring lately.

it's true, i have.
and who in heaven's name is going to want to read a blog post entitled "i've been boring lately."?
not many people.

i've been working working working.
i smell like subway. i was there for 7.5 hours today.

i want it to be august already.
i want to move, and move to cedar city.
i want to find out who my roommate is and plan exciting things together..
.. i hope we get along.

i want to stop stressing about money for college and find out what my fafsa gave me.
please be a lot.

i want to switch rooms to have a bigger room with a bigger closet.
i need that actually..

i obviously want a lot.
but it's all quite simple.

logan, my missionary friend, comes home in a month and 5 days.
today was his birthday.
:) happy birthday dear red head.

i have felt like i only have a few true friends lately..
for those people-- i'm truly grateful.
i love the people who give me support in my life.

i know this is a boring post.
i just don't have much going on in my life except for planning college and WORK.

i am going to trek at the end of june..
i have no idea what possessed me to do that...
ugh. regretting it already.
then family reunion and CAAAAAAAALI in july.
and school in august.
just counting the days. :]

Really Excited About This Eventful Picture Post

this is quick and easy and very describing of my life right now.

the 26th day of October

Okay. Here goes my worthwhile attempt at a somewhat decent post. It's been a while, I know.

Today, I wore the 50s long, white socks with the red keds and the rolled up skinnies. [The skinny jeans aren't in the picture because I changed for dance.] LOVED IT.

Each morning I wake up and say "What era am I gonna be today?"
Fashion: Love. Simple as that.


Dance. Mmm. Been dancing A LOT. Getting pretty dang good. At least I feel the improvement.

It. Is. Autumn.
Everywhere I go I yell "IT'S AUTMUN." I did twice today in the Walmart parking lot. Pumkins and orange leafed trees. That results in me screaming.
Also...
It sleeted today, I wouldn't call it snow quite yet, but it's certainly getting there.
How unfortunate.

Today is my sweet little sister's birthday. She is turning 8.
8-year-olds are the bomb. Here is a picture of her and I [along with our other sister Carly on the left, Elly is on the right.] The little goofball has a blue mouth from her ring pop. I bought her polka dotted rain boots!



Mmk. What else to update on? OH. I have a crush. On a boy. He's a cutie. Haha. That is all that you will be able to pry out of me. But it's just a crush, nothing more.

Logan. My wonderful redheaded missionary. We have been writing 4 page letters every week for a while now (yes, front and back). He is great. I LOVE getting letters. Look at this ADORABLE picture of him. Mmm.


The Harvest Dance was pretty dang fun. I was Barbie and Danny boy was Ken. We were STYLIN. Cutest couple there for sure ;)

So yeah. Then I've just had school and work and shopping and sleeping and eating. Ha. I haven't done much of the sleeping or shopping. But a tad. Oo. And I got this GREAT vintage hat at Forever21. It's black and totally Audrey Hepburn. Next time I wear it, pictures will be posted.

That is life. It's hectic and crazy, but for the most part, I'm really enjoying it.

October First.

SENSES.
I'm seeing: the fan, blowing back and forth. the green sweater I'm wearing. my pink binder.

I'm feeling: the sickening vinyl of the cheap chairs at the school: suctioning on to my legs --the curses of wearing a dress.

I'm hearing: the fan. the clicking of the keyboard - inconsistent and loud. people flirting.

I'm smelling: air? having a cold makes this sense very useless.

I'm tasting: Life cereal. Mm. and capri sun.

Can you believe it's already October..? I certainly can. Life is going by slowly it seems like. Ha. Who knows?

Last night I was watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
There was a little girl who was disabled, but she had the best attitude.

I decided I'm going to try and be like her.
My life is truly great, I have so much, I'm blessed with so much.
I'm also trying to spend less money on food. I have food at my house that is perfectly good. No need to go out and spend a bunch.
I am honestly trying to have a fresh start.

Well... I should probably go finished my homework :/ I kind of hate school. And I have a math test tomorrow. Screw it.

Whatever you call whatever I've been doing.

So yeah. My life is pretty much amaaazing. At least I choose to think so. I love being a Viking so much I could die. Dramatic? Yes. True? Basically. You only get to be in high school once. So I might as well live.it.up. Mhmm.

This week was Homecoming week. And what a blast. Whitewashing the V had to be rescheduled, but it'll be a blast when it comes. More on that when it actually happens.
I've started my internship at Bountiful High, where I help teach her beginning dance class.
SO. MUCH. FUN.
I then go back to Viewmont and help Bon teach her beginning dance class. So every other day, I'm dancing 3 hours a day. And the other days I am just doing one Advanced Dance class. Such a blast. Dancing is one of the greatest things in life.

I was also in the Homecoming Parade. Being an FBLA--Future Business Leader of America-- officer is just too awesome. We're going to a conference in October that should pretty much rock. So below are me and my awesome fellow Vikings, getting our float ready for the parade.

Thennnnn. Went to the homecoming game. I screamed EVERY. MINUTE. of the game.
Lost my voice. And unfortunately, we lost the game by one freaking touchdown.... So upset. But such a fun game. Layton High sucks. That's all there is to it.
Then. Stayed at the school till 2 am decorating for Homecoming. Fun experience I guess. And went back at 9 am to finish.. Bleh.
Hah. THEN. Get this, I got asked to Homecoming THE MORNING OF. It was the most hilarious and chill thing ever. I went with my friend Haus (I'll post pictures when he gets them to me). What a blast. That kid is hilarious. And drove the most beautiful Audi I've ever seen. Or been in.

So yeah.. I totally used my prom dress from last year. Kinda lame, I know. But what am I supposed to do with less than 12 hours notice?!

So I feel like this post was really cliche and average high schooler. But it's me. :) It's what I do, it's who I am. I am livin' up Senior year. Mm baby. It's too great.

Also been doing homework and reading and working and all that crap. Still looking for a new job. I've applied three or four different places.. I need money. But I also need to get out of my crappy job where I am too stressed for words and it is honestly the worst job ever.

First Day of School.

Right now I'm in AP Research (just like a homework lab). Yeah, super easy. I don't even have anything to do.
Imma likin it.

I don't have too many classes with friends, but that's alright. I make friends easily (:
I just wrote my brother in Brazil. He is so awesome. <3

Not much to say.. I am bored out of my mind and have nothing to do.
It's weird, I don't feel like I should be a senior. When I was little I would look at seniors and think 'Wow. They are seniors in high school. They are so old.'
Guess what... I'm not that old. Bummer.
I'm still just a kid.

Where did you go summer?
Tonight I told a complete stranger I thought he was attractive. Because, well, he was.
He was a RED HEAD. Red heads are wondrous. Absolutely. Ask my best friend in Texas, he's a redhead.
I'm praying for you Logan. Love you!

Tonight I went to the fair!
Speaking of red heads. I went with my lovely friend from work. Her name is Andrea and she is a riot. She is super cute and just so much fun to be with. We get along very well. She was super motivational on my quest to tell the attractive boy with red hair that I thought he was cute. (I may have said he was attractive. The moment passed me by so quickly.)
I then bought this amazing ring from a handmade jewelry boutique. I love unique jewelry. Beauty, such beauty.
Andrea is fluent in Spanish, so she told me what they were saying when they weren't speaking to us. Good thing they weren't plotting anything iniquitous. Anyways, love the ring. --Don't mind my unpolished nails. Not much of a polisher myself.
We then ate deep fried Oreos. The most unhealthy thing I have ever eaten. [Debatable].
Topped off with powdered shuga. Mm baby. Probably gave me a potential heart attack in one bite.
I'm pretty sure it was worth it.
Rides were super expensive. But it was still great fun. We watched a rock band competition with different "bands". Unfortunately the 'Lady Killers' [after which we named them the DBB -D bag band- won the contest. Wretched. But mirthful nonetheless.
So yeah, it was a super great night. Marvelous way to spend the last Saturday of the summer.
For sure.

I can't believe summer is coming to an end. It's sad.
It's reminds me of that song by my favorite band [Well, in the top 3].

Day Two. What I Did Today

So I've been noticing people doing these daily blogs, where each day has a different theme or rule. This should be fun. If you're interested in doing the challenge as well, let me know!

Well. Ya see.. I don't exactly know if we are counting since the am. Haha. Because from 12 to 2 am I was designing outfits. Then I went to sleep and woke up around 12:30. I'm a lazy butt, I know. I woke up and read scriptures. Then wrote my 100th blog. Took a shower. Met Elise at Walmart. Bought some soda. A hot guy with earrings rang me up. Then we went to Elise's house and looked at her photography and made some CDs. Then to Cutlers for a tasy sandwich and chat with my dear cousin, Shelby. Then to home for dinner. Chilled with the family. Did the dishes. Went back and met Elise and Sloan at Smoochies. Had a wonderful chat. :) Went back to Elise's house so she could get ready.. For what, I am not sure. Haha. Then went to my house. MADE COOKIES :D We took them to our lovely dear Macae, and Logan's family! Had a wonderful talk with both of them. I love people so dearly. Then went to meet up with some people at Smoot park. Where we met up with other people we knew unexpectedly! Played on the swings. Talked. Hung out. Fun stuff. Then the night ended with us getting pulled over because Elise had a tail light out. Hahahahah. GEEZ. Scared us to death. Now I'm just sleepin over at her house. Party.
Anyways. Woot. It was a pretty wonderful day. Tomorrow I need to work on some stuff and then party at six. I'm so freakin excited.
I'm loving my life. Summer is wonderful, and I'm going to make the most out of the senior year. Thank you for reading this wonderous blog. Sometimes wild, sometimes boring.

Sorry. I haven't been as usual with my blogging.

Hey there peeps. :) Been pretty busy lately. Chilling in my new car. I LOVE it. But guess what.. The CD player doesn't work :( Sigh. Oh well.
So last night slept over at Elise's. She slept over at mine the night before. Did some school shopping. Yada yada. We made this hilarious awesome rap last night. Coolest thing of my life. Haha. And my friend Mitch has a recording studio, sooo we recorded it :) Haha.

Tired

Yeah. I'm super tired. But last night was our sisterhood sleepover. Man, I love those girls like none other. We are each so unique. It'll be our last one till Decemeber? Gee wiz...

Me and Ali are going to clean my room today! Yayyy. I might be switching rooms too! We'll see. I really just need more closet space.. My closet is TINY. :(

Helped Ali clean up her room yesterday. Whata project. Haha. Going camping tomorrow. I really don't want to. I'm going to see if I can get out of it.

What I learned this weekend.. Ha.

It's so true about summer though (: it's a wonderful kind of day. So we might as well live.it.up. That's what I've been trying to do lately (: Woot! Monday and Tuesday I worked.

But then Wednesday I went to the Draper temple with Ali, Mitch and Brady. That was nice. The font in that temple is really cool. We also went and saw some HUGE houses up in Draper. Holy cow, some where about 3x the size of mine. Whyyyy!??! After that Sloan and I had a lazy day. (: I love lazy days. We sat in her room and talked, went to Mcdonalds and got large drinks. Mmm. Can you guess what I got? Lol. Then we went back to her room and watched hilarious videos on youtube. Go look up 1 800 contacts commercial "special eyes". FAVORITE COMMERCIAL EVER. Bahahahaha. And played Catch Phrase, which we are pretty good at when I'm not being a complete idiot. Ha.

Thhhurssssday: I can't remember.. OH!!! Uhmm. Sloan and I cleaned my bathroom!! Holy. Crap. These are before and after pictures (: Woooo baby. It was 100 TIMES WORSE THAT IT LOOKS. Like, you have no idea. The floorboards, the shower, behind the mirror, YIKES. Anyways, that was terrible. But awesome.




It took 3.5 hours. Craziness. We also took a Walmart break in the middle of it, for paper towels, deoterant, and yes, Dr Pepper :D Thennnn. We went to her house. Ate chips and salsa, which, I'll have you know, I am about to eat again for dinner. Yuuuuum. I'm obsessed with chips and salsa lately. THEN. WE. WENT. AND. SAW. INCEPTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOO!!! It was so good and SO FREAKIN CRAZY. We went with Ali Mike Brogan Alex and us :) Soooo cool. Sorry. I am bugging myself with all this craaaazy typing and TALKING.

I'm done now.

Then afterwards me, Mike, and Sloan went to Iggy's and roasted marshmellows, then walked across the street to Seven 11, and yes, I got Dr Pepper. This addiction is SERIOUSLY starting to cost. Siiiigh. Unfortunate.

Friday: Went camping with the family. Wasted in volleyball. I love it. Nothing much after that.
Today: Saturday: Uhhhm. Slept till 1... Haha, Well I woke up at 8. Got home at 11. Slept till 1. Then woke up, chatted with Ali, Went to lunch with Sloan, LAUGHED LIKE CRAZY PEOPLE in my room. Haha. So hyper. So funny. Then I bought new shoes. I. NEED. TO. STOP. SPENDING. MONEY. Dang it. Someone needs to budget my paycheck.

So. Yeah. If you read this whole thing, I'm pretty impressed. You probably got really really bored. This thing is becoming like a journal. Woot. Oh well.

Seriously. I bought The Maine's new album yesterday. I'm obsessed. Listening to it right now actually. Aaaaamazing.
Also, yesterday my lovely Asian friend, Ali, and I went through her itunes and burnt three CDs of awesome music. Anberlin, We Shot The Moon, Sherwood, The Fold, Cartel, All Time Low, and much other good stuff.

You guys, this is some good hearins. Check them out!

I love the smell of Barnes and Noble. [If you don't know what that is, I feel sorry for you. It's a bookstore.]
It smells like books and air conditioning. I love just sitting in there and breathing deeply. I love the quiet feeling of it, but at the same time you don't have to whisper. I went there yesterday and read Seventeen magazine.
Seventeen Magazine: Definitely my guilty pleasure. I'm obsessed, but it's embarrassing. Ha.

Anyways. New music, love it :) Good smells, love it.

Got my nails done yesterday. I walk in: The smell, I hate that smell. Four ladies getting pedicures, but me and Al were walk ins. So I figured it was going to be a long wait. Two men come out of no where and start doing our nails!! What the? How many Asians are there? Ha. Okay. Cool. Me and Al start watching 'Days of our Lives' because there isn't really anything else holding our attention. That show is so dramatic and funny. Hahaha. Weird that people can watch that with a straight face.

Yeah. It was a good adventure.

I worked woot.
Hung out with my girls: Elise and Sloan. And also the famous and cool Brogan. That kid is a serious riot. Lol.
